Thankful Thursday - Breaking Ground

For almost a year now we have been in the process of trying to have a cabin built.

The first step of course was getting financed. Praise the Lord after many months we were approved. Then we were waiting for all the necessary permits needed to build....

Well, this week we finally got the green light to start grating the area where our cabin is going to be built. So, hopefully in about 2 weeks we'll be breaking ground!

Oh - how awesome that you were approved and got the green light for a cabin. I wish we would have one up north for the hot summer months :)

Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this week.

Be blessed today and always.

How exciting! I was looking through a couple of your post, and how fun to live where you have seasons. We have basically two here in South Texas. Hope your journey with the cabin continues to roll along smoothly.

Praise God!! May God continue to bless each step as you build your cabin. :o) I retreat to the mountains in Gatlinburg when I need to get away. When we are in a cabin or chalet I always think how much I would love to live in one. They really are beautiful!!
Have a blessed day,
Patty

how exciting. i am so jealous. don and i have always wanted a cabin - either to live in or as a second home. we've looked into it since we live right next to the mountains - too expensive around here. maybe someday.
