Ready, Aim, Fire!
I want to start today's Tiny Talk Tuesday with a wee wee bit of motherly advise. Always have a pamper in hand BEFORE changing your baby's diaper.

This weekend as I set my SWEET, INNOCENT, 4 month old darling son on my bed to change him. I undid his dirty diaper to let him air out (which make him very happy) while I reached for a new one. Within those 2 seconds, he pe*d on top of my laptop, leaving a nicely sized puddle there....thank goodness it was closed! (Sorry, no picture, I was in a state of panic, so I wiped it off right away!)

When I told my loving husband about the incident, I noticed he was hiding a little smile.

I know there was no actual talking, but Actions Speak Louder Than Words, yes no?! So I'm thinkin' my baby was was trying to tell me something....

OH too funny!
I learned that lesson too. I learned to have another diaper right underneath them ready to go.

Thank goodness your computer wasn't wrecked.

How funny! Oh, the things we learn as they grow! After my son got too big for them (because he stopped peeing into the air), I started seeing these little things called "Tee-Pees" - basically little sno cone cups (in cute fabrics) to cover the area. What will they think of next?

i think your husband was saying, "boys will be boys." =]

gosh, it seems like forever since i had to remember to do such things. but i do have the memories.

See - now if mother's were in charge of marketing these laptops, that would be one of the things that we would use to advertise these puppies! The pee-proff!

Too funny!!! My youngest daughter had 'bathroom struggles' in a differant area. (I couldn't breastfeed, so she was on formula. This wrecked havoc with her insides.) I put her on top of my carhood to change her. As soon as I began cleaning her, she projectiled. I will say no more!!!

BTDT!!!

Actually, it was hilarious with our first one when dh went to change his diaper. He undid it, opened his mouth to say something, and out it came! Almost *gag* in his (dh's) *gag* mouth! Blech!

:-)

It's a good thing those little guys are worth it!

BTW (by the way), BTDT means been there, done that.

Not that I speak that weird text messaging lingo or anything.

Oh and yes, I bloglines too! It's great in that I can keep up with everyone's updates on their blogs... but not great if I'm not keeping up with it for a few days. When we went to California, I came back home to almost 600 new posts! Aaggghhh! The Type A in me had to read ALL of them... even though it took f-o-r-e-v-e-r.

And you already know I can't resist commenting. Maybe if I didn't find typing to be so relaxing, it would be better.

Anyhow, have a great night! It's 1am and I have 4 loads of laundry to fold before bed.

Love,
Marsha

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. It's always nice to meet a new Christian Blogger.
Your baby boy certainly has a good sense of humor! And a good aim, I might add.
I was raised in a family of three girls and had three daughters of my own before I had a son. My little Mikey showed me how nicely he could water the wall. I was mortified, I had no idea they could do that.
I'm sure glad your laptop was closed.

Hi Amber! I had to laugh! My 3 month old son is known for squirtin' me every chance he gets. The poor wall has been shot at a few times and he's even squirted himself on the face, LOL!
